How I Take My Exfoliation Routine To The Next Level

We all know how exfoliating your skin is one of the essential steps in our skin care routine, and for me, I’ve added this to my routine ever since I started the whole taking care of the skin stuff. So, anything that improves my skin care routine certainly piques my interest. Read on to know what I like most about my secret weapon!

Why Do We Need To Exfoliate?
While we do need to be gentle with our skin, exfoliation is still an important part of a skin care routine as it works more intensively than a regular cleansing would. Exfoliation is beneficial to remove dead skin cells, product build-up, dirt, and impurities away from the skin and this, in turn, signals our skin to create new cells, for a healthy, new glow.

In the long run, exfoliating your skin will also help to prevent premature wrinkles as the new skin gets produced, which means it won’t drag and sag other parts of the skin, causing them to fold and wrinkle. Plus, while the topmost dead skin cells are sloughed away from the skin, this helps ingredients from your skin care products get absorbed fully into the skin, rather than being wasted and absorbed by the dead skin. This also helps with the smooth application of makeup products, making the skin look more polished and less likely to get patchy after a few hours of wear. For the benefits listed here, that’s the reason why I continue adding exfoliation to my skincare routine and looking for ways to boost its effectiveness. Luckily for me, I found a product that works perfectly!

What I Use For My Exfoliation Routine

supracor spacells facial sponge

Introducing, my favorite exfoliating sponge, SpaCells® Facial Sponge by Supracor. This product not only provides deep cleansing and removes makeup from the skin, but it also massages and exfoliates my skin to stimulate lymphatic drainage and to detoxify the skin. The sponge is made with two perforated, honeycomb-shapes on different sides of the sponge: one side has a firmer texture for deep, heavy exfoliation, while the other side is much softer for daily cleansing. Plus, what I really like about this product is you don’t have to worry about replacing it all the time; It is naturally anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and allergen-free; you just need to rinse the sponge and let it air dry to clean. One of my esthetician friends even shared with me that the sponge she used lasted for a few years!

All you need to do is just add a bit of cleanser to the sponge, slip your fingers into the sponge and massage it onto your skin in a circular motion for cleansing and stimulates the skin. What I like about the SpaCells® Facial Sponge is how it really works to exfoliate the skin; it’s tough enough to get the job done and yet not too abrasive on my skin. For all those reasons listed, this is definitely a good product to invest in; buy a couple of them and use it everywhere necessary. You don’t have any excuse to not exfoliate your skin when it’s this easy! I also have their Stimulite® Bath Mitt and use it about twice a week in the shower; my body feels so clean and amazing!
