Just when you thought acne issues are gone away for good after you reach adulthood… Guess what? It comes back in a big way. Painful, unsightly pimples that come out at the most inconvenient time, and do nothing but cause you to apply heaps of concealer to cover them up. Hormonal acne is not something to be tolerated with, and here’s how I got rid of mine for good.
The thing about hormonal acne is, well, they’re hormonal. The type of acne that comes up from the fluctuations of the hormones estrogen and progesterone that most dermatologists believe how it starts, although the true cause of this type of acne is yet to be determined.
How To Know If The Acne You Have Is Hormonal?
The first thing is, if you still have acne past the teen years, that acne is usually hormonal, and it’s likely to attack your skin in early adulthood, where the hormone cycle is the most active (from menstruation, pregnancy, and childbirth). And, if you’re not pregnant, chances are the acne will come up during ‘that time of the month’. Neat.
Plus, a telltale sign that hormonal acne is happening is if the location of the pimples occurs on the chin and jawline and may run towards the neck, where the oil glands are prominent and the pores are enlarged; creating hormonal acne.
So, what did I do to get rid of it for good?

Ageless Total Anti-Aging Serum – Next, I used their Anti-Aging Serum; a huge help thanks to phytonutrients, stem cells, and vitamin C. The ingredients work to exfoliate my skin and heal acne, soothing the inflamed skin until it clears up. Within just a few days, I can see the difference; my skin looks brighter and firmer, and the hormonal acne comes up a bit until it eventually fades away.
Ageless Total Repair Crème – I use this as a night cream to deeply rejuvenate my skin, attacking the core issue of my hormonal acne. The cream contains encapsulated retinol that gently exfoliates the skin and stimulates the skin to produce new cells and collagen production. Over time, any inflamed, blemished skin gets healed.
